FLY FISHING ANYONE?

FlyFishing

COME JOIN US FOR OUR 5TH ANNUAL FLY FISHING WEEKEND!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be the one in the movie, A River Runs Through It,
that everyone fantasizes about, with the fly line glistening in the sun and whipping through the air?
Would you like to learn all about fly fishing over the course of a glorious weekend
without having to go out and buy all the equipment and spend a lot of money for lessons?

We can do that for you the weekend of May 15-17th -- our Specially Designed Beginner's Weekend,
and / or the following weekend of May 22-24 -- for intermediate and more advanced fisherfolk!

Either weekend you chose, here's how things work:

After a light breakfast Saturday morning, the class meets on the grassy hill. The beginners group will learn to master the basics of fly fishing; the more advanced gang the following weekend will still take some time beforehand to review and refresh what we know, gain a sense of everyone's skill level, and impart more of the hidden secrets of the flyfishing masters. Then we break for lunch and move to the lake, trying out our new skills and fishing with Jim for the rest of the afternoon. After breakfast on Sunday morning, Jim continues to guide us while we fish, correcting any imperfections that may have crept into our technique and helping us grow as budding fisher folk. Then we break for lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon fishing, eventually bidding fond farewells to those among our newfound fishing friends who can't stay.

Our instructor for both classes will be renowned expert Jim Zullo, a true master of the fly fisherman's art. Jim has fished the Northwoods country all of his life, guiding many people on fly fishing expeditions they'll never forget - both in the Adirondacks and beyond. (Jim also happens to be renowned as the Shenendahowa Hall of Fame basketball coach!)

Jim is supplying all of the gear needed - no need to worry about bringing anything! Of course if you already have a rod and reel we welcome you to bring them, as this weekend will give you a chance to get to know your gear better than you thought possible. We supply breakfast and lunch each day you're with us, plus the cottage of your choice. There may be limited cottages available, and we tend to book quickly, so please contact us as soon as possible if this fantastic opportunity interests you.

The cost for single occupancy, lessons, gear, breakfast and lunch will be $250.00 per day. A second person in a cottage (because, after all, as Jim Zullo says, "some of the best people fly fishing, and the easiest to teach, are women and children"), will be an extra $50.00 per day per person.

The closing date to reserve a place for the Beginner's Weekend is May 11th.
The closing date to reserve a place for the Intermediate / Advanced Weekend is May 18th.

There will be no actual check out time on Sunday due to the lessons; you're welcome to stay as long as you like on Sunday - just have a blast and enjoy the thrill of being in the Northwoods and learning from a master!
