What could be more magical than Autumn in the Adirondacks - or more wondrous than Spring unfolding along the shores of Blue Mountain Lake - to reawaken your spirit and realign your body and soul? Come make new friends and join us at Prospect Point Cottages on one of our incomparable Weekend Retreats as we welcome back Renowned Yoga Teacher Sally Delmerico to lead us in a timeless Journey of Discovery, Renewal and Restoration!

Arrive @ 3:00 on Friday afternoon, settle in and drink in the wonder of the mountains! Things start off with a Welcome Dinner Friday evening and Sally's first Yoga Lesson of the weekend. Saturday morning enjoy a lovely all-you-care-to-eat home-cooked brunch. Three yoga lessons follow during the day, along with time to relax and take in the inspiring mountain scenery all around you. A delightful dinner awaits on Saturday night, with the rest of the evening open to community and fellowship around the fire, or splendid solitude in your cottage, with a good book and a hot cup of tea or cocoa. Sunday morning brings with it another scrumptious brunch and more rejuvenating yoga lessons with Sally. After the last class the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy -- hiking our stunning forest trails, discovering waterfalls and hidden wilderness ponds, or just gazing at the glorious lake and mountains from the comfort of your porch.

 

You're welcome to remain as long as you like on Sunday; there's no hurry to leave us and no checkout time whatsoever. And for those who'd like to stay even longer, the cost per additional night is only $55 per person. And THAT includes our famous all you can eat brunch in the morning! (Yes, we're crazy, but we're truly glad you're here!)

Just bring your favorite yoga mat.  The price of $425.00 includes a same-sex shared room, shared bath, in a rustic cottage with a kitchen on breathtaking Blue Mountain Lake, and all yoga classes and meals. Meals include dinner on Friday, brunch and dinner on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday.  There will be one yoga class on Friday evening, three classes on Saturday, and two on Sunday.

Classes will include a mix of the following:

Restorative Yoga:

Come and experience restorative yoga! You will stretch and lengthen the muscles, releasing accumulated stress. You will gently and supportively open areas of the body which are tight and learn what true relaxation really means. You will come away with a different perspective on dealing with everyday stress. The class will inspire you to let go of the things that take away from your everyday bliss and experience this moment with the breath. Sally invites you to experience the class and discover the calm within you that is always available. And the added bonus is the wonderful feeling that will come over the body when the mind and body are balanced by the breath.

Vinyasa Yoga:

Experience flowing from one asana pose to the next. Learn to direct the movement of your body using your breath. Learn how to focus on the present, creating space in the joints, in the body, in the breath, and in the mind. Feel wonderfully energized and relaxed at the end of the class. 

Power Yoga:

Create strength, power, and flexibility through strong and powerful movement and holding in asana positions. Use your body resistance to increase your ability to hold poses in order to build muscle. You will love this energizing, exhilarating, and powerful yoga. All classes focus on finding balance within the body, mind, and breath. The techniques you will learn will help you to extend this feeling of balance beyond the class and into your everyday life experiences.

Prospect Point Cottages is thrilled to welcome back renowned Yoga Instructor Sally Delmerico to lead our Yoga Weekend Retreats! Sally is a certified, E-RYT registered Yoga Alliance Instructor, and highly regarded in her field.  For over a decade she has been teaching yoga classes at numerous studios and health clubs throughout the Hudson Valley.  Sally teaches a wide variety of styles, suitable for people of all ages and abilities.  She has a loyal following and her sought after classes are well attended.  Sally is known for her attentiveness and sensitivity to the specific needs of each individual.
